Globavia was founded in 2001 at the behest of Paolo Paolicchi.
For more than 25 years, Mr. Paolicchi was CEO of Aerotech Italiana, eventually also serving as vice president of the parent company Aerotech World Trade USA.
It is precisely thanks to his more than 20 years of experience in the field that engineer Paolicchi took the initiative and decided to start his own company, Globavia, which since its creation has gained an immediate presence in the aviation market.
The company's core business includes both representation and distribution of aviation-related products by combining technology and experience.
One of Globavia's special features is that it caters not only to the aviation military sector, but also to the civilian sector.
Competition is currently increasing, so the provision of high-level products coupled with a reduction in the time frame for their implementation is of considerable importance.
The introduction of automation in the industrial branches is a very positive aspect that has enabled the achievement of very high degrees of attention and quality guaranteed by the development of state-of-the-art safety methods, which are indispensable for obtaining efficient aerospace equipment.
Starting in 2017, the Italian government decided to allocate more resources from the national budget to the defense sector, and in more detail, with reference to the year 2022, a record figure stands out: military spending will amount to almost 26 billion euros.
