Airbus 220

The fifth A220-300 to join the ITA Airways fleet and the first to sport the Blue Savoia livery, which in the airline's strategy is dedicated to the glories of Italian sports, this airbus celebrates the figure of Alessandro Mazzola, Italian soccer legend and European Champion with the national team in 1968.

At the heart of Walter De Silva's creative concept are elements such as elegance and simplicity for a flight experience of absolute comfort. Blue and sand colors are predominant, as is attention to detail such as the embroidered logo on the headrests, or in the Italian flag as an element of identity.

Innovative equipment is also present, making the flight experience comfortable, relaxing, and enjoyable for passengers thanks to wider seats, new custom lighting, larger windows, and roomier overhead compartments. The cabin offers a total of 149 seats and is configured in Business and Economy service classes with signature Safran leather recliners in blue and beige cabin tones, equipped with USB power outlets.

ITA's other four Aibus A220-300s, on the other hand, sport an all-white fuselage emblazoned with the words "Born To Be Sustainable" as a testament to ITA Airways' commitment to Sustainability.
